Paul Mitchell first played with Fairport at Cropredy ‘83 when, as a baby-faced 19 year old, he played harmonica on a cover of Chuck Berry’s classic ‘Nadine’. He went on to play professionally in the US in a number of top cover bands in the late 80’s and has recently recorded some new tracks which both Mr Pegg and Mr Mattacks played on.
Paul Mitchell was due to appear here with his long time friend and partner Paul Tuthill as Duff Paddy but sadly Mr Tuthill has not been able to travel from his home in Germany due to other musical commitments and the logistical nightmare required to get here!
